Is this overkill or what? just picture 4x 7800gtx with a total of 2 gigs of video ram!!!
Dell is suppost to have to first system with this setup of cards.

No/Yes.

It's been around for a while, quad SLI has. Not really that big of a deal considering at that point you're most likely held back by your processor anyways.

They got it working well on a 6800. We'll be fine with today's cards...not to mention it's releasing in a few months

I don't know what could use it to the full potential of all that power, but the fact that it is doable is cool.
