...but I was informed yesterday that I'm getting a hedgehog for valentine's day! I honestly can't tell you how excited I am. I love animals, but I can't really have a dog at college. Rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, etc. seem a little lame to me. But a hedgehog!

Not to mention they're the cutest thing ever...

So. Help me think of a name for it once I get it!

So how does one care for a hedgehog? They're bigger than most small creatures, so how do you plan to keep him under wraps? Cage, leash, free-roaming? Can you train a hedgehog to go to the bathroom in certain places?


"Sonic" seems a little cliché, but would be cool. Be a rebel and call him Knuckles. :p

Wow, hedgehogs actually are awesome. Remember, hedgehogs are for life, not just for...uh, Valentine's Day (and yes, this is a real hedgehog, although it looks like a toy. Came from here)
