Lol... I just especially love this Celebration of the light or wtvr the name was that I just ready about that Cairhienins celebrated in WoT. Any men can kiss any woman they wish and woman any men they wish. Dancing in the streets, and woman dancing about topless. lol

Damn RJ is a perv. :p

Well..he got the idea from another civilization holiday that's at the tip of my toung. I beleive they celebrated that on a Solstice.

You do know that ancient Macedonia had their women walk the streets topless as a fashion style? This shouldn't seem to awkward compared to that. :P

Damn it's always said fantasy is full of cliches. When in fact the "normal" contemporary literature is far more cliched; necessarily because when they are based on the normal world, how much can they change?

Generally speaking I have to agree with Jepman; with so much literature already published, it's very hard to write something that would be totally unique and still enjoyable to the average human mind.

Oh, the elves in Raymond E Feist's books (VERY cliched books ;) ) call magic weaving, if I remember correctly... :p

Its too late now to change that. :(

Another thing I realized is how in my book, the hero is hearing voices, remnants of an old god, and trying to deal with them, and Rand heres Lews Therin in his mind. Arg.

But since that just started, I might just remove it. Bloody WoT. And i thought it would be original to have the main character a scitzo :(

My main character is a mute. I think that's pretty original.
"Jayne, this is something the Captain has to do for himself"

"N-No it's not!"

"Oh."

I enjoyed the game, and multiplayer was quite fun. I loved how you could create traps, but I also disliked the inability to use melee weaponry. I still think that traveling The Ways was the scariest moment in gaming history. I had all of my lights out and came close to pissing myself when I turned to see what was chasing me. I agree with Wolfy, the music was great.

I only played the game (I am afraid of starting a series which will leave me hanging without an ending forever) and I really loved it.
Ah, I remember while traveling The Ways how you started to shiver when you heard the wind and soft start of the whispering. Just faintly at the beginning so that you thought that you had imagined it but growing louder all the time. Until at the end all you can hear is screams and the howling of the wind, when you are left alone in darkness.
Oh, yeah, and the music was great.
Sorry for the lousy German

I'm pretty sure there will be an ending to the series sooner or later.

My bet is a book more, or two. Albeit I'm far from there yet, so i don't know how far along he is in book 11.

I'm starting book 7 tonight.

Knife of Dreams answers quite a few questions. Robert Jordan generally says there will be two sequels, including two more prequels, and a possibility of three other books set in Randland.

... Or he will continue the series till he dies. And then after he has been buried they will find a couple of more unpublished manuscripts in some old chest for those two last sequels you mentioned.
