It'd be a good movie if Jay and Silent Bob and their lame stonner humor weren't involved at all.

Well, you should be happy, because their part in the movie is supposed to be much smaller, along the lines of the original. Also, for anyone who didn't know, they've been doing a video production diary for the past several months.

Well that's only about the best part of the series.

The trailer makes Jay and Bob's roles look bigger than was implied. I guess it's just the trailer. Well I'm excited.

I guess it's this, V for Vendetta, and Aqua Teen Hunger Force in 2006. I'll probably get dragged to X-Men and Spiderman, but for some reason I don't find myself excited. I was teased about this only to be disappointed by IMDB.

Bah. I've still not been able to locate a copy of the original anywhere :(

Get the Clerks X DVD. It's only been out for a year or two, so it shouldn't be hard to find.

The fact that Clerks 2 will be in color is very disappointing. I know the original was only in black and white because they had no other choice, but it gave the movie more of a gritty feeling.

I belive clerks 2 will be in both black and white segments, and color segments.

It's Kevin Smith guys.. He will NOT disappoint. I don't think he has. At least not me.

He's already sold out--he's only doing this for money. He said after Clerks was finished he'd never make another one--and he went against his word and made me personally question his integrity. I'm sure it'll be good, but seeing as how Clerks was the highest grossing film he made...well it's easy to see why he made a sequel to it. For a very un-Kevin Smithlike reason, quite unfortunately.

He tried to get a Clerks sequel off the ground for quite a while after he finished Dogma, but it ended up as Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Unless you meant that he said he was done with the Askewniverse after Strike Back, in which case, yes, he did. But he apparently promised Mewes that he'd do another movie if he was able to stay sober, which he has. And if he's so worried about making money, why is he planning on keeping it as unedited as possible, even if it gets an NC-17?

he definately has not sold out. everyone loves the clerks story, its what he did to get into the film scene. i would feel cheated as a fan of his films if i didnt get to see more into dante and randal's life.. more than the 6 episodes of the animated series (which is also getting a movie(hooray)).

and im willing to bet the movie will be black and white until (from what i can tell) they quit working at the quick stop
