Now that I have all of your attention, I'll be at summer classes for the next 5 weeks (College Prep Program) and then in Washington DC the week after. If anyone needs to talk to me, or whatnot, I'll be posting on the forums minimully in the afternoon, and home on the weekends.

To make this thread count for something: Post both what you're doing this summer, and a recently received Spam Topic that made you laugh. Keep it PG, or Starred.

I imagine I'll spend a large portion of my time going around trying to find a job and fail. The rest of my time will be divided among:

-Practicing UT2k4 editing till I can release a half-decent map.
-Playing video games.
-Playing airsoft.
-Finishing two assignments for french class.
-Doing french exam.
-Filling out papers for college.

I'd probebly stay home infront of JK (I know... Get a life is on the bottom of the todo list...), unless my mother drags me to some remote part of Sweden. Why not get out of the country? 'Cause the orld is kinda hectick... Air-lines aren't safe, even with the over protected security that makes the lines longer than usual (might be wrong here). I might take a walk in town, do some shopping for clothes, belts, shoes, watches, shades, etc...

Hm, I've been out of school for maybe three years now. Back then I said that I was going to be taking some web and multimedia design classes at my local community college (or some adult education classes), and wouldn't you know it, I'm saying the same exact thing this year. I've been playing games with my free time.

I know for certain that I'll be getting my license this summer, after three years I've gotten quite stircrazy. Other than that, I'll most likely just lay around with my shirt off and complain about the heat.

Right now, I have 2 weeks vacation until Summer classes start. For those two weeks, I think I'm just going to relax and just work on various things on the computer like making player models fo Jedi Academy. If the company I work for ever gets back into gear again (they've been quite dead for a while now), I'll probably get to work on that. As for the summer class, I'll be taking Intermediate Algebra (Math 35) which I need as GE credits for getting into the college I want to transfer to. The class will be about 6 weeks as they usually are so after that is over, I'll have a whole month of vacation until Fall semester starts.

...I know... that sounds like a boring life. I'm know I bored of it. I would like to get a summer time job thrown in there but it seems that most places have no positions available that I can make time for (stupid Riverside county! Practically nothing there in terms of commerial industry).

Well I guess I'll be swotting up on background research work for my final year dissertation project (it's looking likely that it'll be something combining, Java, MySQL and PHP [http://forums.massassi.net/html/redface.gif]).

As for leisure time, Seb's suggestion sounds good [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]. That and the obligatory JK editing [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif] - maybe I'll finally have enough time/motivation to finish a project I start [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif] - sometimes I hate that danged perfectionist streak in me [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]. I guess I'll wait and see what happens...

Oh - and maybe go on holiday with some of my uni house-mates who have now graduated - I'm currently on a year in industry, so I've got my final year of uni to do first and then out into the real world and earning my crust. But hey - that "long-term job" part is next summer's angst, so plenty of time before I start worrying there...
