21 straight hours of Call of Duty: Finest Hour for PS2 Online. So addicting when you play with real people online, talking to them through your headphones, instead of your regualr AI. Met some good friends online playing that game.

My longest would be the time I played through Elite Force 2 and completed it in a single night. I started around 6:00 PM the day I got the game and completed it at 9:00 AM the next morning. Damn, I was so bloody tired after that gaming session. Funny thing too is that game doesn't have much of a MP life so I didn't get my money's beating the game in a single day like that :(

Wow...

I feel a little out of my league. About 4 hours on Diablo II, then I ate and did something else.

When I was mad into Asheron's Call, I probably spent 3 of every 4 hours in a day playing that ****ing game.

Way back when the N64 was the hot new thing we had mammoth GoldenEye gaming sessions. Once when we were away for the weekend I literally fell asleep playing the game at around 9.30am. We had started some time the previous afternoon.

Either the first time I played WoW, or my Deus Ex Marathon*.

* This was painful. Very. Played from start to finish without stopping (Without stopping being an hour for sleep every say, 8 hours, and some food and bathroom breaks.)

Was fun. I still remember that run. At one point I got frustrated and instead of doing Maggie Chow's damn police thing, I hit her on the head a few times with the GEP gun and took the sword and flamethrowered my way through the building.

well, actually i lie... i logged in when i woke up and logged out when i went to bed, but i spent a few hours sat down at the inn, or maybe a few hours stood round dancing naked in some random town... does that count as gameplay time, as me personally did other things... i was still logged in though!

I've spent like 20 hours on D2 Bnet
2006-01-11, 6:47 PM #13
About 4 hrs on NWN. I can't go long stints. I get headaches and whatnot after prolongued long computer. That and I can't fathom sitting for three days let alone 1/6 of a day gaming.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

The only way I managed to do this was it was in the middle of a heat wave and I didn't want to go upstairs more than I needed too. Also, the parents were out and I had headphones... It was VERY LOUD. I probably missed 8 phone calls.

At a sleepover when were younger, my friends and I played eternal darkness from about 10 PM to 10 AM in an attempt to beat the game in one night. WORSE MISTAKE EVER (froggy can testify)

Wow, I am pathetic in comparison. I have maybe played 2.5 hrs. on my longest run, either when playing Deus Ex or HL2. I usually play for 1.5 hrs. per session, though.

I played battlefield 2 for 6 hours like month ago. I once played super smash bothers on n64 for 12 hours. Wow, i love that game.

1 20 hour party in FFXI. Levels 66-72. We spent about 3-4 hours in a zone, XP, zone would start to fill up, would go to jeuno, have about a 30 minute break, then we would go to the next zone as it started to empty out and repeat the process. It was an awesome party, RNG, RNG, RNG, BRD, RDM, NIN (Pre RNG nerf). I pulled in about 140,000 XP. (We were getting 10k-12k/h in Bibiki Bay, Dhalmels are so weak against rangers)

Probably 6 hours or so, on Metal Gear Solid.

At a LAN party, we played SS and SS2 for 12 hours straight, with the monster's HP set insanely high. (You know, where it takes like 50 rockets to take down even the simplist monster?)

I still can't believe we stuck through it and beat them like that.

As for by myself, I've probably played FFXI for 8 hours or more at once.

Rogue Spear on the zone for 12 hours straight when I was about 10.

10.5 hours playing through Tie Fighter. That time is not including a couple of bathroom breaks and 15 minutes for food.

I can indeed testify. Don't EVER make the same mistake we did.

When I played Gothic 2 for the first time I would go to bed every day a little bit later, than usual and would wake up the next day a little bit later. After I was finished with the game (I think it took about 50-60 hours) I was in my usual day/night cycle again.

Over 36 hours... pretty close to 40, actually.

Final Fantasy 10. From the start to the second-last phase of the Sin airship battle, where the airship is flying toward Sin and is about to be swallowed. I passed out and woke up on Game Over.

18 hours of World of Warcraft. Needless to say, never again. Felt like I'd wasted a day of my life. I normally play for 1 to 4 hours max. SOMETIMES 6-8.

First time I ever played a Final Fantasy.

One of our friends at Uni had gone home for the weekend, and we were using his room to play on his playstation. One of the guys there was really into Final Fantasy and managed to persuade me to try out FF VII. I started playing at some time between 8pm-10pm on Saturday evening. I kept going til 9am next morning. Then went to sleep for a few hours and was back playing some more.

Somewhere around 16 hours. That's not at all uncommon for LAN parties though.
2006-01-12, 6:17 AM #37
I've probably done 3 or 4. One of my best gaming experiences has been playing Thief 3 long into the night. The game gets even scarier when it's 1 in the morning and you're dead tired.

I think probably when I was with my first boyfriend, with a couple of his mates. Playstation 2, various games. Mostly Tony Hawk's, GTA (can't remember which one), Tenchu 2 and Bubble Bobble :p (also on the BB disc an awesome game with a little dude that shot rainbows - anyone remember the name?). My bf's mum would bring us food and we'd leave only to go to the toilet and shop runs for cigarettes and alcohol. Probably spent a couple of days like that!

It'd have to be a tie between KotOR and Fable. I spent around 13-16 hours playing both of them non-stop (not both on the same day of course), not even stopping for food or bathroom breaks.

I don't regret it. Those were hours of total bliss.

Honest question. The first time I played it I beat the game and finished every quest and side-quest in just a little under 5 hours.
