What is the most painful thing you can think of that has ever happened to you?

1. Colon sucked out my *** (Someone had to say it)

2. At school, I've gotten into little fights with a few friends that would involve a kidney punch or two, or maybe grabbing the other person by the hair and trying to pull it out (this REALLY hurt). I've also had a few solar plexus punches.

3. When I was around 6, we have this bench that goes at our dinner table. My mom pulled it out to clean the kitchen. I went in to get something to eat, and tried to hop the bench on my way back. Foot caught the bench, hit the side of my head on the floor first, and my right leg landed on the edge of the bench, and that leg hurt like a mother. Dunno what made it hurt so bad...

I try to avoid pain, hence the wimpy stories.

Paintballs don't. hurt. that. bad.

I fell five feet to straddle a bar.

I couldn't get it up for like two weeks.

Now I am renewed to beyond full vigor though.

I was in a bike accident two years back and was thrown over the handlebars, hitting the asphalt hard. I struggled to a sitting posistion, and saw my left leg twisted in a way that was... very unnatural. Turns out I had shattered my femur. It took a nice pair of 6" stainless steel pins and a monsterous cast to stabilize. Bad experience.

There was this one time when I went out to eat at a chinese restaurant with my folks, I didn't feel very hungry because my stomach was aching. I figured then that I probably needed to go to the bathroom so I want to the rest room and attempted to take a dump.

At first, it wouldn't come out I went back to my table. After a while later, I decided to try again. Determined as I was to take a crap, I decided to force the sucker out. DAMN WAS IT PAINFUL! It hurt so bad coming out that my VISION FLASHED WHITE FOR A GOOD FEW SECONDS. When the sucker finally came out, it looked like a WHITE ONION. After getting that sucker out of me, I ate like crazy :)

Straining like that is the quickest way to get hemorrhoids. Try getting more fiber in your diet and you won't have that problem again. :p

Anyway, I got caught above the left eye from the back end of a baseball bat swing accidentally when I was younger, and that must've hurt pretty bad but I don't remember much.

A couple years ago, skating down my street on the sidewalk, the board got caught on the sidewalk as one of the "blocks" was higher than the one I was on, and I was not prepared for it. I flew off and downward really fast, nailing the concrete with the side of my head pretty damn hard. Fortunatly, I impacted with the full side, so all the force didn't go into one spot and it did not hurt that much, but then I was also afraid of having a concussion. I guess I didn't.

When I was in high school, I was a varsity wrestler. I was wrestling a "friend" for a spot in the state championship competition, and he decided he'd put me out.

He put me in a side headlock, picked me up, and dropped me on my neck off the mat on concrete.

It ruptured the three lowest vertabrae in my spine...

That hurt pretty bad...

when i was around 10, i went off a ramp with my bike and when i landed, the handlebars rotated forward due to the force of the landing and the damn thing not being tightened. well, i couldnt steer and the bike hit a curb dead on, sending me flying forward (specifically, connecting my pelvic region to the front part of the bike). that sucked. pissing hurt for the day.

Lesse...

I got kicked/kneed in the balls once by a random girl at a dance (she wasn't very nice, I ain't holding it out on all women or anything :p)

I flew off a cheap plastic disc-sled when, going down a ski slope, it hit a bump. I landed square on my butt. My dad still holds it against me because I stupidly said "I think I died."

Strangely enough, the most relatively recent painful experience I had is when I strained my leg during a pogo night. I was still pretty drunk by the morning, so I didn't feel it on the bus on my way home. But then, I got home, hopped into my lovely computer chair, and after half an hour or so, found out that apparently, my leg hurt so much that I couldn't walk. Thank **** that chair has wheels. I still had to crawl to bed and to the bathroom, though.

And I'm saying "strangely" because I've had my toenails torn off, glass through my wrist, I've cut myself from the inside of my mouth, had one of my fingernails sewn through with a sewing machine, (obviously) fell on my bicycle's frame, and had a crapload of other supposedly painful things happen to me, but neither of them really hurt that much. Well, except for that bicycle part.

I guess it's just that "long-term pain" > "injury pain", if that makes any sense.

Some scary stuff in this thread...

Mine would probably be one of the two that resulted in stitches:
The first was probably about age 3/4, I was at the park with my mum and saw another girl on a bike. I asked my mum if I could have a go, some negotiations were made, and off I went. I was going along the paths between the swings and slides and stuff, and noticed that I was going down a reasonably steep slope, at the bottom of which were some steps, ie: lots of pain. I should mention at this point that nobody had explained to me what brakes are. So, being the clever little girl that I was, I looked around, and spotted a nice fat hedge that I could ride into to stop myself. So I did. Inside the hedge: huge metal pillar, for no apparent reason. Muchos blood. Have a scar on my hairline, but I can't be bothered to take a pic. I got to ride in the front of the ambulance that day :D

The second can be summed up in a quick little mspaint, from the previous thread:

When I was a kid, I was jumping hurdles (couch cushions) in my hallway and stubbed my big toe on a door hinge. It hurt extremely bad, worse than your average stubbed toe. The pain went on for a few days until I convinced my parents to take me to the hospital (at this point I couldn't use that foot for walking and had to be carried). The doctor did an x-ray, if I remember correctly, and discovered that a large section of my toenail, upon impact, had been pushed way back in to my big toe, and was now infected. He comes in to the room with a balloon, asks me what my favorite animal was (which he couldn't reproduce with a balloon, so he made a dog instead), and proceeded to tell me that he was going to shove 5 needles which were about 3 inches in length (which just so happens to be huge to a little kid), down my big toe, and in to my foot, in order to numb and neutralize the infection. To make a long story short, the ******* did just what he said and it hurt like hell. I refused to cry and instead gritted my teeth at him in anger. From that day on, I vowed to one day find this doctor and stab him in his toe with 5 very long needles until he squeeled like a pig.

My father once told me that I was not going to be able to play kickball with my friends. They were playing kickball in my front yard, just outside of my window, and I couldn't take the torture. I proceeded to kick, scream, and cry my way in to being allowed to exit my home on to the field, but my father was tough, and would have none of it. After being ignored for about 10 minutes, I punched the floor and broke one of the bones in my hand. It's the little one that's between your pinky finger and wrist. To punish me for my behavior, he made me wait for two days before he'd take me to see a doctor. I had to wear that damn cast for over a month and to top things off, the doctor saws the damn thing off and just so happens to take some of my skin with it. "Doc, you're sawing my arm!" "No, I'm not!"...but YES HE WAS, AND DID..!

P.S. I'm too tired to look for grammatical errors, so buzz off.

The most painful thing? Probably that time that my girlfriend dumped me. No, wait, that wasnt it. It was 2 years later, when she married my brother.

Oh, you mean physical pain. Hmm, well, that would probably be the time I got hit in the face with an axe. No, seriously, when I was a kid I got hit in the face with an axe.

See, some of the fella's and I were out in the woods chopping trees down (this was some 10 years ago). Everything was fine, right up to the point where I walked behind of the the guys, and BAM - I got smacked in the face with the back-side of his axe.

It hurt like hell for days.
And when the moment is right, I'm gonna fly a kite.

Most recently it'd be when a drunken pikey smacked me in the face and his sovereign ring split my lip open. It took about 8 stitches but the anaesthetic wasn't really effective for the last two so I got the full sensation of having my lip pierced slowly.

Worst ever would be breaking a rib in a mountain bike acccident. Afterwards, everytime, I turned a certain way and tensed one of my side muscles something would kinda shift inside me and I'd go into a world of pain until I moved back. Not easy if the muscle clenches with the pain!

I have a similar scar myself, and it was likely my most painful injury.

I was 2 years old, and being pushed along in my stroller by my babysitter. She stopped to do something, and being the impatient little tot I was, struggled to get moving again. Through my efforts, I managed to topple the stroller.

Now, this was one of those old, death-trap style contraptions with lots of exposed metal parts. Upon falling, my head came down on one of these parts. It put a pretty deep gash just below my left eyebrow. Yeah, it probably hurt like sin, but I feel worse for my babysitter.

The most impressive thing to come out of that was the black eye that followed. It's quite a shiner. I'll scan it and post it in the pic thread the next time I'm home.

Most painful was probably the appendicitis. Luckily the surgery took care of it before the appendix burst. But wow did my stomach hurt.

Other than that, my injuries have been pretty tame. I don't do enough crazy stuff I guess.

I was shot in my left shoulder with a Smith and Wesson Model 462 .38 caliber revolver. Fortunately, it didn't strike bone or artery, but it still hurt like hell.

Yeah. Minor brain damage, broken nose, few teeth gone, and trouble breething. If I'd hit the curb two inches lower, I'd have broken my neck. Or rather, splintered it.

That, and Chronic Fatigue.

You should hear me... it sounds like I'm dieing.

Also, back in high school I was playing flag football and was chasing somebody and went to reach out for the flag but ended up getting my left middle finger caught in the belt. What I should've did was kept running(I was just a tad faster), but I stopped(very very dumb) and ended tearing the tendon in my finger. It hurt pretty bad and the whole finger turned black and blue.

Edit: Another time, (same year) I was playing Lacrosse and when to shoot, but someone attempted to block and ended up hitting my right middle finger. All the skin under the nail turned black and blue.

I've had many a jammed finger which just piss you off more than anything since you don't want to move that finger..

Hit in the nuts. Alot.

Been kicked in the solar plexus, which put me down on the ground for a few minutes, and I couldn't breathe much/at all for a few minutes.

But one of the weirdest (that hurt like a mother, but I've had worse) was last weekend when I was playing basketball and went to set a pick for the point guard dribbling down court with two guys on him. My ******* "friend" moved in front of me even though he had a good 6 feet to see me and he DID move in front of me, I didn't set the pick in front of him. He hit me, and something hit me in the crotch. And then, my penis decided to be heroic and protect me sack from the basketball or a hand or something at the cost of...well, causing me so much pain that I couldn't really stand up well for the next half hour. That really hurt. A lot. It's not like a bruise where it's a blunt pain...this really hurt.

Again I say that really hurt.

Oh, and the ****ing refs called a moving pick on me.

Bastards.
I had a blog. It sucked.

Considering the fact I race motocross, and have my whole life, I've had way too numerous crashes, but a lot of them have been pretty bad.

Me and my friend were throwing stuff outside at eachother for fun and we started throwing rocks. I got a rock square in the teeth, breaking off the tops of three bottom teeth. Couldn't eat right for a few days after that (oh and by the way, he's still my best friend as of this moment).

Breaking my arm snowboarding in Panorama. I had been hitting the terrain park all week and then the day after the freezing rain, and the lip for the box rail wasn't exactly in good shape, I came into it way too fast going for a boardslide. My only reasonable explanation is that I carved before even hitting the boxrail, causing me to catch an edge, and go sailing pretty far. I cracked my shoulder on the edge of the boxrail. And no, it hasn't stopped me or scared me from snowboarding. I go regularly and am returning to Panorama this Spring Break.

You know when you're hanging around with a little cousin or something and they want you to swing them around? Yeah well my dad was doing that to me when I was younger, he held my hands and swung me in circles. My dog was barking below me as I was swinging in circles with my dad, and suddenly my dog lept and bit me right in the balls. Hard. And it hurt.

Those are some of my most painful experiences.
Very funny Scotty. Now beam down my clothes.

Cut my foot wide open on rowing camp, on a jagged metal thing under the water that was somehow connected to the jetty. It reminded me of that bit from Home Alone, when the tall crook is going up the stairwell in bare feet and steps RIGHT SMACK ON the nail. Except I actually tore my foot in the process.
