What are some popular classic SNES games? Other than the Star Wars titles, Final Fantasy and sports.

I found a game store near my home that sells almost every kind of SNES game you can imagine dirt cheap. So far I already got Super Metroid, Super Godzilla, Super Star Wars, Super ESB, Super RotJ and Castlevania. I also picked up some old NES games including METAL GEAR. I just need to find my old SNES and NES system.

Just about all the best ones have been touched upon, but just so as I go on record as saying this:

Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past -> there's still areas of this I've yet to fully explore. And did anyone ever find all of those heart containers - I was always missing a couple...
Super Mario Kart -> I'm taking my SNES to uni for my final year as one of my "to be" housemates loves that game to the death - which is a good thing when I go and 0wn him [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]
Super Mario World -> Ahh - just got to love the flagship game [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]
Street Fighter II -> What more needs to be said about the game that rocked the beat-em up genre and rose the bar for all to follow [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]
Star Fox -> wow, with its (then) "revolutionary" SFX chip (I forget the specifics...)

NBA Jam was also good fun, as was the Starw Wars series [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]. Alas, I cound't find Secret of Evermore or Legend Of Mana titles anywhere...

** the reviews for Super Mario RPG (it was the title that played from an isometric p-o-v wasn't it and your acquired new characters?) looked great, but it wasn't released in Britain [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]. Suffice to say I *still feel cheated out of my youth... [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif] [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif])

Chrono Trigger >>>>>> FF. Why did Square not realize that they did combat and encounters in CT soo soo right, and that in FF they were soo soo very horridly wrong..

Secret of Mana is a lot of fun as well, though fscking hard to keep your somewhat-dense-groupies from getting themselves repeatedly blindingly-quickly slain. [*licks editing memory addresses*]

On an entirely different note.. Harvest Moon. You.. grow stuff. And harvest it. And raise chickens. And stuff.

LttP is brilliant as well, it was the only snes game i would play at all for quite a long while.

Earthbound. Kinda like Zelda.. but really funny.

Tales of Phantasia. Just started and played like 5 minutes, so haven't gotten a solid idea of it yet, but my qod it's gorgeous. Like you walk over bridges.. and see yourself reflected in the water o.O

Hrm, I thought that was the SNES version... oh well. Yeah, I still have super metroid on my snes and I have the new gba zelda which rocks (not the zero mission one but the other one). My brother has the gamecube version and I really like that, too.

Yes, I got all the heart container pieces in Zelda III. That is my favorite game of all time. I wouldn't like to play it on the gba though because there aren't enough buttons [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

Super Metroid takes place a little bit after Metroid and Metroid 2. Metroid 2 was on GB.

I didn't know Metroid Zero Mission was the original though on GBA.

READY?
You know what I'm going to post
You know its really stupid
If you've read this far you deserve a slap
I'll give you a clue its been metioned already
I mean it skip to the next post
Dude seriously you know I'm gonna say 'Super Metriod' at the bottom of this turn back now
I mean it. Its not big and its not clever, like insulting a blonde miget.
Really
Come on
You can't seriously want to read this
Your funeral pal
I can't stop you
You can tell I can feel myself become less cool this post - and I've made some bad posts
[And even less cool with this edit, there where some obvious mistakes I need to fix]
[One more time as I'm editing the post anyway]
Last chance

I mean it this time

Here goes:

SUPER METRIOD!

And for general gaming fun Zero Mission, Metriod, Metriod 2, Super Metriod, Metriod Prime and Metriod Fusion.
