Does your Right brain or Left brain dominate?

Seanch google if you're not sure. I think most people are left brain dominate. I am mostly right brain dominate: I was always a great creative writer, but never really focused in math. I always question the rules, and actively seek to improve upon old ideas. I always procrastinate, and often times spend hours pacing over a new idea. I love to go through technical books, but I can never focus on the details, because I keep trying to get the big picture. Once I think I understand something, I don't want to practice it. I often regard the left-brain dominant 4.0 "zombies" with contempt when they seem ignorant of why they do what they are told.

My brain is... different.

Compartmentalization plus ambidexterity gone horribly wrong.

Left dominant, but my right brain is pretty developed, although it's not easy all the time.

I'm more or less the same. Perhaps more than just a little to the left.

Right, mostly, but I have some aspects of a left brain dominant person. Perhaps my brain is ambidextrious.

I'm pretty much a combination of both. In fact, I'd say a lot of people on these forums are; game editing is a combination of creativity and math.

Probably quite heavily left. My imagination and creativity can suffer at times. :gbk:

Right brain, to the point where left brain functions (math, etc) are considerably affected for the worst.

I can be right brained and be creative, but my left brain is definitely more dominant, and I use it more.

The last time I took any sort of test, I got 8 points for left brain and 7 for right. I think that's pretty accurate..

Same, except that I don't consider myself all that *great* of a writer. Heh.

I learned in my psychology class that some people have a surgical procedure done to seperate the two halves of their brain... I forget why they need to have it done... but there is a major side effect. It causes them not to be able to verbally identify objects. They cannot associate an object with a word after this procedure is finished.

It's a lesion of the corpus callosum right?

I try to develop both as much as possible, although by nature I'm "right-sided".

Just curious... does your handedness agree with your brain? The brain uses the opposite side for each side of the body. So, your left brain controls your right hand and foot.

The thing is, although I said my right brain governs my personallity, I am right handed! On the other hand, I am cross-dominant, if not left-footed, in soccer....

Uber-brained?

I think we all use some of both....

But there is a strong connection in people in music and art on the right, and logic on the left.

I love math and logic, and it isn't hard for me... only thing is, I can never concentrate long enough to get anything done.

I am a very creative person, in writing, inventing, procrastinating, and the like; however, I am also quite good at math and logic. Hm.
