It's been a while since I played Academy, so I popped it in today. Within thirty seconds, I remembered just how much I hate Rosh. Seriously, it should not be the goal of game developers to create flimsy characters that are nothing more than annoyances, and have them factor heavily into the plot. The guy actually brings the game down a peg or two in my opinion, he's that terrible of a character. For god's sake, he tries to kill you in the first level!!!! Anyways, post who you think is the most annoying character in gaming-dom.

Yeah.......rosh does suck something awful. I love Kyle's reaction to the attempted murder, which is pretty much no reaction at all.

The nice thing about JA's decision making part of the game is that you can simply save the game before you make your decision, kill rosh, then save that game for the dark side, reload previous game, and then refuse to kill him so you can play the light side. What I'm saying is - don't like the fear of the dark side stop you. Just kill his sorry butt with no regrets :)

I was pissed when I played Kotor and couldn't kill Carth. That was bogus.

Carth was my favorite character in Kotor hands down. Well, at least once I got past his little nervous meltdown at the beginning. ;)

Spoilers for KotOR: You can kill both Carth and Mission, as part of the story.

I figured they made Rosh so annoying so you wouldn't feel much remorse over killing him :p

Bearded_Jarl - that guy was Toad and a mushroom not a bug.


Rosh was annoying but he was suposed to be, I think they did a good job of accualy tempting you to the darkside. (not that everyone dosen't do the save kill reload kill reload kill some more reload turn off saber...oh looka that I'm such a good Jedi)

but most annoying character: Cait Sith- FFVII [I wish he wasn't so importaint to the story at (that one part) because then he would be annoying AND pointless thereby justifying my annoyance.]

oh and who could forget: Anikin - Jedi Power Battles

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Slippy from Starfox 64 yet.

Baby Mario in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island is annoying as well when he starts crying.

And I don't know about annoying, but Tingle in the Zelda series is pretty bad.

A character that was supposed to be annoying I think, but was more comical, was Otis from Half-Life: Opposing Force.

Oh man I forgot about her. All of them were incredibly annoying. Personally, I thought Falco was the most annoying.

I strongly disliked Norton Mapes from F.E.A.R.

He kind of reminded me of Nedry from Jurassic Park.

cliffracers from morrowind are the most annoying. rosh was annoying too...

I like how with some mods there's a LOT of blood with severed body parts, as it replaces the sparks, so when he gets his arm cut off it's not "BSSZT thud" It's "BZZSPLSRSLRSGHRLSHRHRSHPRLHSPHLRSPLAT"
