A bit...strange..
I had a blog. It sucked.

Interesting. The film actually wasn't too far off from how memory storage actually works. I'm more interested in DARPA's neural implants for memory enhancements.

I predict VERY bad things if this ever goes through.

I'll with my memories, good and bad, fuzzy and clear.

Anyone see the Stargate SG-1 episode yesterday? Very timely, n'est pas?

This pill seems like an interesting idea. Though really, from what I've heard all you need to dull bad memories is a bit of marijuana.

P.S. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind sucked horribly.

Is it possible to hate someone on the basis of a single sentence? Why, yes. Yes it is.

All this pill does is (theoretically) inhibit the formation of memories, not erase them. And considering we have very little idea how memories are made/stored make me thing it doesn't work the way they advertise it to.

Same as it's possible to hate a movie based on the first eight minutes. :D

And no, my opinion will not change until IMDB rescinds its classification of "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" as "science fiction".

If they do that, I will merely have no opinion, instead of loathing it entirely. Because when a movie where the first eight minutes consists of Jim Carrey walking around being emo with a bunch of artsy camera angles displaces "The Matrix" for the number 3 slot in the "best sci-fi movies of all time" list, something is seriously wrong.

EDIT: Yeah, I'm quoting TLTE. Damn you people are fast.

Dude...honestly, then you didn't get the gist of the movie. And IMDB is hardly what I call the end-all source.

I just don't like people disagreeing with me, it implies that I could be wrong.

Reminds me of Memento in a way.

Now, Memento and Total Recall, those are films I enjoyed. Memento is a bit "WTF" at the beginning, especially if you go into it not knowing that the scenes have been reversed. But you figure it out pretty quickly, and can then start connecting the story together.

Total Recall was great. I mean... Arnie + Mars. What more could anyone want from a movie?

What I didn't understand in Memento is that how did he know he had a condition after he lost his short term memory during that "incident"? I guess that's just a minor plot problem.

I think the "Remember Sammy Jenkis" tattoo reminded him of that. That and his police file.

I was txting someone through most of the film and I really didn't get what the heck was going on so i thought it was crap. I think that if i'd paid attention i might have actually liked it though :p

Hating is an opinion too. For instance, I might opine that DJ Yoshi is a hatable person and should be hated for this very post he made. So really, you just jumped on him for the same thing he jumped on someone else for.

Just silly.

Maybe. But he would forget reading the police files and the tatoo on his hand in a few minutes.
