anyone watch battlestar galactica?

it's a good show. much different than the original series (yeah, i'm old).

Got both seasons on DVD, and recently ordered and received the BSG Season 1 soundtrack and Philip Glass' "Solo Piano."

I think it's better than the original series for the simple fact that it's one, long continuing storyline, where as the original was very episodic.

First I thought this was going to be a personal thread.

I've never really heard much about it, though. It's probably on the sci-fi channel at some ungodly hour in the morning if I ever decide to check it out.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

It's amazing. I've been watching since Day 1.

The past couple episodes have each been the best episode ever. I recommend it to everyone!

Still pissed off that we don't get to see as much shirtless Starbuck and shirtless Apollo vs. Cylon action though.

But oh well.

The first season had *WAY* too much gratuitous sex. Thankfully theyve toned it down a few notches.

I like it, especially the latest episodes. I agree with GBK that the first season had WAY too much sex, but now we're finally getting more action and plotmoving storys.

There were some contraversial changes, but it's very very good.

But definitely a different show.

I watch it every chance I get. I love it, it kicks ***. Lots of ***.

I'm glued to the TV for all of SciFi Friday.

I think more people would have complained if they kept Starbuck a guy. ;)

I know, but the only way I can get my post count as high as yours is if I point out the obvious in every thread :p JK
I just felt like saying it. You know someone had to.

Yeah, I'm hooked. And it is *so* much better than Stargate whatever.

That's irrelevant. You think some movies are better than others; yet I doubt they're the same genre.

That's true and I was rather harsh. Though, I think the phrasing is wrong and it'd be more appropriate if you were comparing something more equel, like comparing the Simpsons to Family Guy.

No, they're pretty close. But IMHO, Stargate Atlantis shows have weaker plots and a lot more technobabble nonsense. BSG is pretty good about that for the most part.
