Anyone remember Yoda Stories? THAT. GAME. WAS. AWESOME.

End of story.

I'm bored, and getting ready to play it.

<3 Yoda Stories.
I had a blog. It sucked.

It's free now, you know.

It also doesn't run on Windows XP for me. Even with a special patch for XP I couldn't get it to work. A friend claims he was able to, but I can't.

That game is cool and also sucks at the same time.

I'd like to give it a try.

I remember wasting so many hours with that game.

If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

FYI:

Abandonware != Free

Unless LA releases their claim on it, or its copyright wears off, it's still illegal...

BTW, X-Wing v. Tie Fighter is also on the site Sarn linked to.

Yeah, and that's definitely not free.

I tried to make it work, but I came up with nothing.

(I tried the obvious solution of Win95/98 compatibility mode, but nothing. not that compatibility mode has ever solved any of my problems to begin with)

I've been trying to get my old Mechwarrior 2 Mercenaries: Titanium game to work in Winxp, with similar problems. From what i've found by googling, Mercs doesn't work in Winxp due to issues with newer versions of DirectX. Maybe Yoda Stories has a similar problem.

Page, you should do some better searching. It takes only two updated files (windsound32.dll and winsound.ini, if I remember correctly) that need to replace the ones in the directory you have it installed.

Yeah, there's no way to force MW2 to work in XP, it just can't :(

<3 Yoda Stories

I'll have to download "Indiana Jones' Desktop Adventures". Same concept/gameplay.

The first time I played Mysteries of the Sith was on a demo disk from PC Gamer. It also happened to include a demo for the Indiana Jones Desktop Adventures.

Wow.

That was a -long- time ago.
