LOL. Actually too windy. I can attest to this, I live outside of Orlando and it has been REALLY windy, quite some big gusts.

Everyone was supposed to be watching this on gbs.tv, not nasa's site.

Not only is there humor added to the boring live feed, but there is fun fun music!

Tune in again tomorrow :p

Crap, I missed it because I was in class. NASA TV is doing replays of the launch though, I think.

From an e-mail

Zero Gravity
When NASA first started sending up astronauts, they quickly discovered
that ball-point pens would not work in zero gravity. To combat this
problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and $12 billion developing a pen
that writes in zero gravity, upside-down, on almost any surface
including glass and at temperatures ranging from below freezing to over
300 C. The Russians used a pencil. Your taxes are due again -- enjoy
paying them.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

$12 billion? That's bigger than is usually "reported". What's sad is that someone is going to read that and actually believe it: "OMGZ dued they spended 12 brazilian dolars on a pen! tehy shuold spend it on making moar bombs for teh army instaed!!!!11"

And on the same note, never ruin a good thread with a stupid story from an e-mail forward.
