I keep getting this in my email, and the attachment is obviously a virus, but they are pissing me off. Anyways, thought I might ask, it's kind of a weird message.

If DR = DOCTOR

HENCE

GOCTOR EAT.

which leads us to the obvious question, who or WHAT is a 'goctor'. Well, if we're to infer anything from the fact that goctors or goctor himself/herself EATS, it's that it is an organism! An animal, most likely. Likewise, it has been scientifically provenified that the closest word I can think of off the top of my head to 'goctor' is 'proctor'...

this leads us to the conclusion that either mr. goctor is a proctor, or perhaps an animal with proctorial tendencies, such as a flamingo.

The fact that 'proctor' is a shortening of 'poctor octor' can't be escaped, however, and leads us on to a whole new field of historical, biblical, scientifical, and philosophical madness.

and we need not even get into the intricacies that are raised by a recognition of 'mr. goctor' as an abbreviation for 'moctor goctor'.

(moctor poctor octor goctor?)

I don't know where that came from, honestly >_<.

Well, it's pretty obvious the message is computer-generated in an attempt to bypass spam filters.

But the more obvious question: what the hell are you doing looking in your spam folder?

I've had important information accidentally sent to my SPAM folder in the past.

Yeah, sometimes if I register for something, like a forum for example, the confirmation will sometimes show up in there. So that's why I look in there every now and then.
