How many monitors do you use?

Simple enough - I'm the rather chuffed owner now of a dual-monitor system and my goodness is it good. Just wondered whether I make up the majority or the minority these days! :P

Technically I only use one. But I keep my television plugged into my computer for video editing or if I want to throw some videos on it to watch.

I voted two. At work I have two monitors (sometimes I wish it were three) and at home I have a monitor, a TV and a beamer hooked up to the computer. Though I rarely use them all at the same time and I could only use two simultanously anyway.

I'm not counting my laptop screen as a moniter if you count the laptop and the desktop then I used two...but not at the same time. hope that made sense

I use two at work. It's crazy how quickly it becomes annoying to have to go back to a single monitor when you get home.

Two monitors for the win :D

I use a monitor and a TV when I want to watch a movie or GBSTV for a while. I have another monitor I could hook up, but I don't have enough room on my desk for two 17" CRTs. :(

1 big one.

Multiple monitor systems are a bit glitchy still when it comes to hardware acceleration. And since I work on software I'd rather have a stable platform than a convenient one.

How are they glitchy? I don't get it. I've never had a problem.

I was using 2, but someone came and took one :(

Not in windows. Every game I've played works fine. The ONLY issue you may run into is you need to disable the second monitor when playing really crappy games, but that's something Ultramon takes care of easily.

My desk won't fit a second one. And I'm too cheap for another. Also, I really don't need one.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

One to develop and one to see the result. Or one for the documentation and one to develop. Or it's great in Photoshop to have the picture on one monitor and on the other all the tools and perhaps a second view of the picture.
Or one to work in and the other to chat in #massassi...

I only use one. When I use to have my geforce 4 card though I occasionally hooked up my TV to it and used it to play console roms on. I also plugged my dad's projection screen tv in as well. Playing Jedi Outcast on a 54' TV was pretty fun :) (Too bad is blurrier than crap so reading small text was a pain. It was like using the computer while drunk)
