....Hasn't Blizzard made a movie yet? I think that all three of there major games would make awsome movies. What are your opinions and what would be your favourite game to make into a movie.

I think the Warcraft story would be good, but really, really long.
If the movies were made by the cinematics team they would be even better.

I sure wouldn't mind seeing a warcraft story. Just the humans and the orcs duking it out half the movie, then banding against the burning legion. It wouldn't capture the whole of the Warcraft lore and plotline, but you'd get the basic feel and amazingness of it.

(I never was too much into Star Craft and to me, Diablo would not make a very could movie. Too much of a typical dungeon crawler. But thats just me ;))

Any of them, so long as there isn't any Linkin Park in the sound track. Which would ruin the movie for almost everyone over the age of 14.

I agree. Besides, that kind of music wouldn't fit anything cept MAYBE star craft. And even then.

You can add ****ty rock music to just about any GETTING PUMPED AND READY FOR BATTLE scene. As well as any crappy battle scene.

Because it would be directed by Uwe Boll.

They should make a World of Warcraft movie. The first half of the movie will be a mundane quest grind. The second half will be standing around in Orgrimmar.

I like dark movies, so definitely Diablo. I think it could shape up into a very good movie, but it would likely be butchered

and by that I mean one: Advent Children was good otherwise they have all been crappy.


But I always though that JK would make a cool movie...well maybe not the exact story but something with the force and maybe those light sword things, that thing was sweet especialy with the secondary fire double slash spam...yah that would be a sweet movie one with a light sword thing.

You're kidding, right? The editing was bad, the music was sub-par, and you couldn't care one bit about the characters. Visually, it was absolutely stunning, but that's all it had going for it.

The most enjoyable movie based off of a game was Mortal Kombat. Was it a good movie? It was average, at best. But it was enjoyable.

The editing was fine, the music was amazing, and the characters were well developed...if you'd played the game. The only part that I had a complaint about was the plot--they didn't make it friendly to people who had never heard of the game. Then again, if you're going to watch a Final Fantasy movie, why wouldn't you be someone acquainted with the most popular of the series already?

Advent Childern was good if you played the game and liked it. there was no real plot development because basicly it was made for fans of the game. I LOVED the music, I thought it had one of the best sound tracks ever. But I can see where alot of people wouldn't like it. I don't know that the editing was so much bad as it wasn't normal. I will admit it wasn't that good and made the movie a little more confusing but I didn't mind it and could follow it just fine.

and yes I am kidding about the Jedi Knight movie...I think you all cought that but I guess I should make sure.

Yeah, IMHO no other Blizzard game had such a deep story.

Word. They tried to jazz up the Warcraft story with the new Warcraft, but it's obvious that the first two ruined it with good ideas that were just too advanced for their time.
