I never understood why so many people love RotJ. To me, it is the worst of the series.

I hate all of you mainly because you added a poll, but didn't fix the spelling in the title.

Empire takes all. I mean, the whole series is based on that single line "I am your father"

would we care about what anakin did in his young years if he was his UNCLE?

Seriously, ESB is trash. I would rate it somewhere near AotC. It's still better than TPM, though.

every SW movie has an important element that adds to the whole story which is why GL sees it all as one big movie and not 6

but on a side note, the importance of that line doesnt matter when it comes to judging which movie is liked more.

Empire was my old favorite, but the acting in the New Trilogy blew it away.

You mean Mr. Hayden "Acting for Dummies" Christensen.

Seriously? Why do people say the old trilogy acting was bad? It was great! They made it believeable. The scenes in the falcon where they go from Tatooine to the Death Star have great acting. And how can you bash Alec Guiness?

Ewan McGregor was good, too. Same thing with Liam Neeson and of course Ian McDiarmid, but he was good in PT and OT.
And I am probably one of the few who actually liked Christensen. Just compare him to Vader, I think he did a good interpretation.

Still, Empire ftw

I liked RotJ best, due to Luke kicking arse and wearing a black outfit that made him look like a Ninja. A Jedi Ninja. A Jedi Ninja Wizard.

And he had an artificial hand, which makes him a pirate. A Jedi Ninja Wizard Pirate.
The hand was mechanical. A Robot Jedi Ninja Wizard Pirate.

I thought Liam Neeson was terrible! You could have substituted a cardboard cutout for him, have someone read his lines off camera, and never known the difference.

The only time I thought Hayden was worth a flip was when he was supposed to be mad.

McGregor was probably the best out of the bunch in the prequels (ok, Ian too), but even he was flat and lifeless in TPM - just not as much as everyone else.

Theres a big difference between ACTING a hate filled cyborg, and acting LIKE a carboard cut out of a cyborg.
