I need someone I can trust, with a convenient wad of cash and probably paypal or something that wouldn't mind doing a *really* big favour for my old man.

Thing is, he likes his dollies. Well, they're film action figurines, or whatever. And he's nearly got 'em all, except for one. Which is being sold on the vast reaches of eBay. Unfortunately, the seller will only ship to America. Hence the request for help, because, y'know, we're not American.

Ideally, I need someone willing to be able to purchase said item and send it our way, with money coming in your direction to pay (probably) for the dolly thing, shipping, import, etc. Should you feel kind enough to lend a hand, either post here or send me a PM within the next day or so (since that's when the bidding ends) and hopefully we can work something out.

May I point out that we invented mass production (Richard Arkwright and the Cromford Mills), the first weaving machines, steam engines and locomotion (James Watts, Trevithick, Stephenson etc) the first propeller powered ship (Brunel), some of the first modern suspension bridges, machine tools, road engineering etc. We generally kicked butt at engineering around that time and left the rest of the world trailing by decades.
Plus we had a whole frikkin' empire! Victorian Britain > USA c.1800s

Do you forget that huge hurricane that flooded one of your cities, could just be me but I didn't see much aid going to the people, they were stranded for days you ****ing american pigs.
