So I just won a bet. The bet was that a certain female acquaintance of mine was trying to assure me that the movie "Hostel" was directed by Quentin Tarantino, to which I, naturally, disagreed.

If she would've won, I'd owe her 5 bucks. If I'd have, she, in turn, would have to spend her 5 bucks on the ticket and go to see the movie with me.

Anyone seen it? Is it worth seeing, even for free?

And before anyone wonders, I don't much care for the chick, at least not in a way guys usually care about chicks. She's got a boyfriend and I like a totally different person, but that's beside the point.

First half of the film - Softcore porn
Second half of the film - Lots of torture and disgusting images

It was pretty bad :/
Think while it's still legal.

Have her buy you an ice cream instead. Might be money better invested...

What did Tarantino actually do for this movie? It looks like they just stuck his name on it so it would sell more tickets.

Yup. Same exact thing they did with the re-release of Hero. Except Hero was actually a damn good movie.

Sounds like my kind of flick! :p

I was going to see it with my friend's sis on Saturday, but we were 20 minutes late, and she's a minor......though I suppose I would count as adult accompaniment. Damn I'm old :(
