I thought you meant in general at first and I was like HELLS no. But yeah, I sometimes go through phases with food
Fincham: Where are you going?
Me: I have no idea
Fincham: I meant where are you sitting. This wasn't an existential question.

I doubt it'll last long though. I'm planning on making it about until this Friday...

I believe there's a reason for everything. When I stopped drinking sodas it was because of how bad they are. I've stopped smoking, drinking, and eating meat as well, all of which had their reasons.

I stopped drinking soda two years ago.

Stopped eating meat one and a half years ago.

Both are for no reason really, but it is healthier.

I used to love fried shrimp when I was little, but I just stopped eating it one day.

I gave up soda a few years back, but that was because I made a conscious effort to stop eating/drinking junk food.

I stopped drinking soda for the most part a while ago. I think mainly because it's expensive or isn't very good. (I'll drink it if it's free!)

I haven't drank Gatorade/Powerade since '02 because when I was sick, my mom used to make me drink powerade, and I would always throw it up, now I can't even think of the stuff.

Also, ever since New Years Day, when I got a horrible flu, I haven't drank a single energy drink, or eaten a single potato chip. New Years Eve I drank a Von Dutch (Yummy) and a Monster: Khaos, and I can honestly say that just THINKING of the horrible taste of Khaos makes me sick to my stomache. That plus when I threw up, I threw up a bunch of Doritos and Pringles. So for some reason now I can't even look at chips or I get sick. I'm weird. Just a few days ago I ordered a Red Bull at a resturant, but I couldn't drink it. I tried to sip it, but it upset my stomache. It's all mental >.< Bah.

been off caffiene for a few months now.

Been on and off soda for a while. Soda is actually alot better when drank only now and then. Go a month or so without sode then have a glass of your favorite and it's like 100x better then it was before. Not to mention like human jet fuel.

I've stopped drinking soda (or pop, if ya call it that) for a long time because its not good for your teeth. Instead, I drink mostly just punch and apple juice. Its only when I go to restaurants or when I need a caffine fix is when I drink it.

As for food, I always go through phases. You can only eat something for so long until you get bored with it and move onto something else.

It's more like the opposite for me. Every now and then I feel like if I don't drink some juice of some sort, I'll go crazy. :o

I went off Cadbury's Creme Eggs for ages after trying to eat one when I had flu to cheer me up. Instead it tasted absolutely vile, only because my taste buds had been nuked and coated in phlegm. Oh and peanut butter was another one: I was actually notorious for my consumption of the stuff, then I just went off it, and now I'm dieting I'm especially not on it.

What the hell is pop?

Do you mean coke?

No, pop is soda. Either is acceptable. Soda is generally used more than pop. But people who refer to it as soda and those who refer to it as pop both agree that anyone who calls everything "coke" is just an idiot.

Or it's just a regional colloquialism that you like to use to make yourself feel better by putting down the people who use it. I've called everything coke, soda, or pop. It's no big deal, honestly.

The most recent thing for me has been not wanting to eat standard pasta at home. I used to want it ALL the time, but the last few times I had it, it tasted different, and I don't know why. It makes me a little sad, but it's probably just backlash from being hooked on nothing but it for at least 6 months beforehand.

I am a social soda drinker and social beef eater.

I take most of my health advice from Jack Lalanne, he cannot be wrong.

While many people think not eating any meat is better for you, it isn't true across the board. Some people can't eat meat and some people have to. However, for nearly all people, seafood and poultry are better than beef and such. The occasional burger won't help, but a diet based more on fish oils is better for your brain, and lean protein is healthier for your heart.

"It isn't what you do once in a while that kills you, it's what you do all the time."

But hey, if you don't eat meat at all, it won't kill you as long as your diet is healthy in protein, eating nuts and soybeans and the like.

I stopped drinking soda altogether for a while but decided that one every couple of weeks won't hurt and I enjoy it. Same as I enjoy the occasional hamburger, but it isn't going to kill my pullups. I also like elk, but only sometimes.
