I hear this movie is really great. I've been trying to see it for about a month now, and I'm just now getting the chance to. I'm excited. I'll have my report here when I get back.

The trailer for it has been playing a lot on TV recently. It looks fantastic.

Could have stood to be 45 minutes shorter. Other than that, a good movie.

I thought it was good. Although... I think it deserved an 18A rating more than Underworld 2 did, which we were GOING to see, but couldn't because of the rating.

"Let's see Munich! It's only 14A."

Yeah. You'll understand why that's funny when you get back.
"Jayne, this is something the Captain has to do for himself"

"N-No it's not!"

"Oh."

I hear it's quite violent. I'm excited. We're leaving soon.

I'm not excited about the violence... I'm excited because I hear it's Spielberg's best film yet.

Spielberg's best in years, one of those films that entertains you, yet raises those issues that matter in the real world.

I thought it was well-directed, but it lacked alot.
If it was supposed to make a point, it didn't.
If it was supposed to be uplifting, it wasn't.
If I was supposed to care for hte characters, I didn't.

It felt like I was watching desperado without wanting to root for antonio banderas.

But it was very well directed.

I thought it made an excellent point about how unclear the morals of terrorism, revenge and assassination are.

Can it be considered a suspenseful thriller?

I was in Munich.
Hated it.

Too much traffic.
Sorry for the lousy German

Good movie and well acted by a strong (Aussie-featuring :D) cast, but way too long. The movie would have been much sharper and its statements more intense if it was < 2 hours.

Also did anyone else get distracted by Eric Bana's sideburns? I found myself staring at them thinking how rediculous he looked instead of paying attention to the movie.

Yeah, and that scene on the staircase between Bana's character and the guy from the other group (RLO?) pretty much emphasized the film's point.

I was gonna go see it, but then I saw that it was 3 hours long so I didn't. I'm getting pretty tired of all these long movies. :gbk:

The morals of terrorism could have been more than a 3 hour movie about people trying to assassinate people responsible for terrorist acts and most of them dying in ways that don't surprise or give emotional reactions that make you sympathize or care for the characters.

It was trying to be too much and ended out being not enough.
