So I just watched SG-1 tonight

It had a chick disguised in some sort of black armor who took over this ship, because she's trying to save her people. The ship is only commanded by one person when she takes control, this Daniel guy.(note that I dont watch SG-1 EVER, i was just switching through the channels.)

Anyways my point is, when she removed that alien armor stuff and saw her face I was like....DAMN! Who is that woman? She had dark hair and one hell of a body in that skin-tight suite. Anybody know the name of that actress?

Claudia Black is the name you're looking for.

And yeah, "Prometheus Unbound" is one hell of an episode. I loved it.

She returned for the first 6 or so eps of this season and she'll be back as a regular cast member

Best scene of the episode had to be when Daniel zats her butt. Very, very nice shot. :D

I still put Rachel Luttrell as top Stargate babe though.

Her face looks like Kelly's face - Netherland's most popular transsexual.

i saw an episode of SG1 today, the bits and pieces i saw before this i didnt really like... but i enjoyed this episode, might get into it more.... can anyone help me identify which season its from?

Some dude finds a stone 7 years previous to the episode, and sees everything the main character does, and starts telling them as stories, eventually he writes them down, gets rejected from all sorts of publishers and alienates his family because his tales of the SG1 team take over his life.

then he goes to knack the main dude and they work out how it happened, and they find out that the main dude has been seeing the life of some random barber for 7 years.

it was amusing and i found it entertaining.... i might check out the programme proper.

Never noticed before but Dan Castellaneta played Joe.

I don't watch the show so often, but this episode was really great. Not the usual kind, but it shows that they don't take themselves too seriously.

I saw it on TV yesterday for the second time (first time was a few months ago) and I caught this:

After the ship lands and he's trying to figure out what's going on, he goes down to find "the people who need to be rescued" only to find the two aliens who want the buy the ship... then this happens.

Aliens: Who are you?
Daniel: Olo. Hans Olo. (aka Han Solo)

I didn't catch that before.
--
And in terms of the show not taking itself seriously, I loved the episode where someone actually MADE the Stargate TV show IN the show, and everyone was like "oh my god, this is what we do...I hope no one figures it out."

I also loved the episode where Teal'C and Colonel O'Neil got stuck in a time loop and they start doing stuff for fun, like shooting golf balls through the stargate while the general is screaming at them.

SG-1 is horribly overrated.

"Last episode, we lost someone. I think they were kidnapped. Lets have some drama where we decide who to sacrifice to save the person. Oh man, we just totally used some ancient/new technology to save the person, but there were sacrifices... hey wait, where did that one guy go!? Oh, I get it, we're setting up for the next episode."

Granted, some episodes sucked (especially the first half of the most recent season), but in general, a show doesn't last 9 seasons because it's overrated.

Or maybe that's the reason it has lasted so long. :)

I haven't liked it recently. It's had it's moments, but I like Stargate: Atlantis more.

Stargate Atlantis had McKay's hallucination of Carter with her shirt off. I'd say that makes it a winner.

Everyone knows the best part of Stargate is when MacGuyver and Jack Burton fight Lo Pan. Granted, Wilford Brimley should've been there, but that is in the hands of baby Jesus.
