It depends on the kind of games you enjoy. Because you didn't tell us why you were thinking of getting a PS2, my vote is obvious.

In terms of total games I own: Gamecube > Xbox > GBA > PS2 > PSP. If you're anything like me, you probably won't be too happy with a PS2.
Well, actually, if you're anything like me you'll be perfectly happy with a PS2, but you'd be more happy with a Gamecube or Xbox.

If he wanted us to "think outside the box", he would not have included a two option poll. He would have posted "I have X money, what should I do with it? I am thinking of a PS2."
