I just wandered over to maddox's site and noticed he said he's finished with his book and I was wondering who might buy it?

Personally, I'm not sure yet. I'd have to know what it's about before I'll think about buying it. If it's just a giant book of rants like his site I probably won't, but if it's actually something worth-while I would think about it.

I like Maddox's writing. So probably yes.

He's one of those guys that everyone loves, but nobody loves to share. He's one of those guys that, if you don't like it, chances are you don't like it because you heard about it from someone you hate/dislike. He's great, funny, and tries too hard to be offensive and admits to it. He says everything you want to and more (for comical value), and is serious about absolutely none of it.

Will not buy it. I hate Maddox. I just do not find him funny at all. I've read every single one of his "rants", trying to give him a chance, but hasn't happened yet.

The only thing I marginally liked was the Tom Clancy Plot Generator.

The fact that he trades links with Ebaum shows what kind of guy Maddox is. At once he criticizes magazines for stealing his articles (the adult Muppets and kid's drawings) and freely associates with a person who has become a millionaire by stealing, rebranding, reverse-engineering and plagiarism. Your third point makes the second point make a BIT more sense, but you also forget that he LINKS to eBaum's. That doesn't mean he condones eBaum's. or even talks with good ol' Eric regularly. Just that he uses the internet.

Right, well... here's the thing: He links to Ebaum. He gives Ebaum publicity in the form of links, which garners him ad views, which directly rewards him for his behavior.

This is business. I don't like Sony-BMG for distributing spyware/viruses/rootkits on their CDs, so I don't buy Sony-BMG music albums. I don't like Ebaum, Maddox or their little scam, so I'm not going to purchase or endorse their products (such as the book Maddox is selling). It's not rocket science, Yoshi. Even you should be able to understand this without foaming at the mouth and calling me an "idiot".

1) It means you think all rap is bad/must degrade a person's intelligence. This stems from your ignorance of the kind of rap I DO listen to, and the kind I DO NOT listen to.

2) He links to eBaums--and so do a lot of sites. I don't think he does it for ad revenue, and neither do a lot of sites/forum posts that link to eBaum's out there. My friends give me eBaums links--does that mean they're getting paid by Mr. Bauman (or however you spell it)?

3) You don't have to be so hostile and nasty. Seriously, I don't know what your problem is but everytime someone disagrees with you you feel the need to degrade them with both witty/non-witty insults meant to break them down until you can feel like you're better than them. This isn't necessary, nor is it a good tactic. Chill out, and take things a bit more easily. I disagree with you--I didn't kill your mother or hate you and I haven't said my opinions are 100% fact (though I do believe in them). Until I do start with that kind of idiotic tripe, there's no reason whatsoever to attack me. And yes, that is a quasi-threat that infers I may kill your mother. But no, I do not particularly plan on it. Too much damn travelling.
