Well I just recieved my new monitor from staples this morning. Went home at lunch to hook it up, and needless to say, I love it.

Its a Viewsonic VP2000s flat lcd screen. It has a 20.1" Viewable area, a game-friendly refresh rate and some beautiful colors. I am most impressed, but I don't think it was very hard to beat my old 19" Hansol CRT. Heheh.

Oh my god, there is space on my desk again! *cheers*

So what do you use for a monitor, what do you think of it?

I bought a 17in monitor from Staples a couple of years ago, took it home and hooked it up. It started smoking, so I took it back and as for the "non-smoking model".

I still have that one.

FGR, does your monitor really sit on that shelf? I'd be worried it would fall on me. Then again, in my case, it would probably fall on me because I get pissed when I play Battlefield 2 and punch down the desk.
