Why is everyone changing aliases?

Does no one recognize the value of history or tradition?

If you have changed your alias on the forums, post here, and give a darned good reason for it.

My first Alias was Destructor. That got deleted because of a bug in the forum. I had the most posts (I can't believe i still hold on to that)

Then I had Tanko. I left the community, for a bit, and when I came back, I didn't want to be known as the same person.

Then I made this one.

As for me, I think I've always been Delphian and I don't plan on changing.

I used to go by TK v3. Or something. Then Big Mad Tony. Then 01010100 for a while.

I should change mine. Everywhere I use this, I hear "Gil-games-h? What does that mean?" But I'm hardly known with this one, so I don't want to completely go back to oblivion with a new name.

Used to be known as SaberMaster. I registered when I was 15 or 16 and kept the account for a while. I was a moderator of the cog forum at one point. Then I joined the Marine Corps and stopped coming to Massassi for a while.

When I came back (because no one really leaves;)), I didn't want to keep a name I thought up when I was 15, and I had already started using Centrist as my screen name.

I wanted to..reason enough. :p

Meh - I was a cadet in the Civil Air Patrol for six years..haven't been a member for years now. Time to change - this one is permanent. :)

I did have an account some time ago with SL_ in front of my name, stood for the clan I was in at the time. I forgot the password to that acount though, and I'm pretty sure it's been deleted by now.

I was RN2804 and I didn't like it.

My name is spook because sophomore year I bleached my hair until it was white (and stood on end by itself too) and my metal shop teacher called me Cosmo the Spook, and that is the only name lots of people know my by now, is Spook.

when i signed up i was in a clan. InnerStealth. i was IS_Ford1342. i hated being in a clan. i dropped out not long before JO was released. so after about...a year of posting i think(perhaps two?) and 2431 posts, i signed up a new account as Ford. will never change.

I'd change mine, actually, as I feel it's way too inhuman of a name, but it's sort of been attached to me now. It'd be like changing my real name (which incidentially I wouldn't mind doing either -- I don't think it fits me). However, I don't dislike either much, nor do I have a name I think would be better in their places, so... yeah :p

This has been mine since i started up, no need to change it, its the only name people know me by now. If i ever changed it would jsut be to Bhac Ssylan, since i've been using that a lot lately, but there's really no point.

And geb: if you change, you're still going to be called geb by everyone :-p

Yeah, he did.

And I used to be DBF_SuperSaiyan, but somehow my account got deleted back in 2002 or 2001 or something, so I changed it to this and kept this ever since.
