Yes, so this morning I woke up, still confused of the way I would propose to Jess. I have ]-['s suggestion in mind, but after a few calls I found out that this was hopeless as every flower shops were way too busy to accept delivering a flower each.
So the morning went like this. I cooked Jess a nice breakfast and woke her up softly. We ate together and then I told her I had some quick things I needed to take care of in town. As I was putting on my coat, to my horror, the ring case I had in its pocket went flying onto the floor and she saw it.
She asked, "What is that?"
Not sure how to react, I simply said, "Its the key to my happiness until the end of my days."
She shot me a curious glance. I hung my coat back and slowly retrieved it, still unsure how the hell I would do this. Frankly, I'm surprise I didn't squeak, coward from it and run to do groceries. Instead, I kissed her and then looked deep into her eyes for I'm not sure how long. A minute... five... ten, its hard to tell. Finally I gave her a nasty smirk and it burst out of my mouth.
"I need you, I need you to be with me for the rest of my life."
*Kneel and pop the box open.*
"Marry me?"
And then, I waited for yet another eternity, looking at a stone face... now I realize it was pure shock, she wasn't expecting it, until I finally saw a glimmer in her eyes and a tear.
To my relief and happiness she knelt before me and ... thanked me... THANKED ME (?????) before kissing me whispering yes a dozen thousand times...
I am the happiest man in the world. Thanks for you guys for somehow giving me the courage yesterday. And thanks CTRL-ALT-DEL it seems...
