I have a blast each and every time I play JHS. As a matter of fact, my clanmates and I had a 5 person ffa in JHS Monday night and everyone had a great time. It's not much to look at it, but it's quite fun and the gameplay is suprisingly good considering the abundance of traps and dead ends. I hardly think that people should stop voting for a map if they enjoy it.

Hangar 217 is popular? I haven't been able to get a game in that map for years...please point me in the direction of where this is popular, for I'll be joining that community immediately. It was somewhat popular years ago, but most people who have actively played this game in the past few years have never heard of it. Hangar 217 is fun. Plain and simple.

Cardia. You're probably referring to Cardia SE, which was a pack that featured a day and night version of the level. The magic carpet was great. :]

No no there were actually three releases I think. Cardia v1 which was released early on because I succumbed to the early WEE LETS RUSH LEVELS OUT QUICKLY! hysteria surrounding JED's release, then a month later Cardia v2 with much expanded areas and a lot more cog (ie. what I should have waited to release from day 1). Then I later released Cardia SE with the day/night versions as I got a lot of requests for a day version for some reason....dunno why....the daylight just exposed how freakin' boxy it really was [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

In hindsight I should have only release Cardia v2....but as always, hindsight is a *****.

Anyway, I won't name five specific levels as it's been way too long since I played to accurately remember - but anything by Tee, Slug, Juz, Jason Burton and NorthChaos is top shelf IMO.

It was good, except I would have developed the mangled undead trooper a little more. I wasn't sure what it was at first.

Also, a good idea would have been to have a shot that shows a few undead stormies down on their hands and knees snacking on a dead officer or something gross like that. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

Making new keys wouldn't be hard, and you could always have it happen in a locked office or something that lets you see the gruesome sight through the window.

I can't name very many JK maps, but I know I've had some good times with Area21.

I can't argue with that...I stand corrected. A truly great map, either way. I had forgotten that v2 was in the Ultimate Gun Pack (UGP). An excellent pack all around.

1) Drazen Isle
2) SS3 SP demo
3) DFA SP demo
4) Jade Garden
5) A tie between JHS and Ode to Suzanne. Not because they're good by any means (in all fairness, I've never played OtS), but the sheer horribleness of JHS combined with it's incredible popularity is one of the universe's greatest conundrums. Oh, and the OtS' origin and description are the most hilarious/saddest things I've ever heard.

You know, I wouldn't have even thought about Cardia, but it really *was* a good level, now that you mention it..

Anything by Tee, NorthChaos, or Jeff. Oh, and HothRebel... Am I forgetting anyone? I seem to recall digging some level by KillerBee, but I forget what - Riot, maybe?

Oh, and Death From Above was a fun mod that was never fully realised..

And another 'oh, and' - Jason Burton's level... Imperial Siege At Derra IV.. Yeah. Good times.

First of all, JHS: yuck!!! definitely overrated. The shield and health are everywhere, so picked up all the time while duelling, arg. What more, it's ugly, and bad framerate.

K, my faves:

1. Stories Untold Levelpack (Especially 'Temple')
2. Heart of the Forest
3. Island Ruins
4. Dark Tempest 7
5. Coruscant Arena 1
6. Saberdome Minimus (whoops, thats 6)

Fave MotS:

1. Sith Arena
2. The Shadow Estate
3. Carbo SE
4. Red Manor
5. Reactor (Original MotS level)

If you wanted a definitive JK level pack, those authors would make up the bulk of it. Not forgetting people like Nebula, HothRebel, Takimoto and some others. Oh yeah that Jeff Walters guy was really good too.
