I liked Pitch Black, thought I'd spend the $9. I thought it was entertaining. What'd you think?

How good is it?

To me, it looked cheesy in the previews.

I liked Vin Diesel in Boiler room, but ever since XxX came out, it's been downhill from there, IMO.

This keeps getting funnier. I spelt it Ridick (also wrong), but changed it when I googled it to check, and the first site spelt it "ridic."

It's almost 1 am.

It was good. For some reason I find it hard to like Vin Diesel, but I liked it. The effects were okay, the story was nice, I'd say it was definitely worth it.

He was great in Boiler Room.

I'm probably going to see it some time next week, i figure it will be a decent action flick, at least. I liked Pitch Black, although i didn't see it until i came out on Sci-Fi, and then i only kept watchign since it had claudia black ("Hey, it's Aeryn Sun! I might was well watch...").

I think it will be a pretty good action movie, and the special effects are supposed to be awesome. I dont think it will suck, but it certainly wont be winning any oscars.

Riddick is a criminal what was being transported on aprison ship in 'Pitch Black'. The ship goes wrong, they have to land, he escapes, they find that there are some homocidal flying monster things that come out every time there is an eclipse, which is going to happen in about 4 hours. they have to escape. it sounds quite corney, but its actually a decent movie. Vin does psychopath suprisingly well, IMO.

Pitch Black is an exceptional movie. One of those that break every rule in movies. The kids die, etc.

I'd recommend it.

i dont know what peoples problem with vin deisels tough guy image thing is. its not something he created its something people who create movies and cast him gave him. for the longest time he was like this scrawny break dancer kid who sold light bulbs for a living and played dnd and hes still a dork inside he jus liked performing so he realized if youre not that good of an actor you can pump up and get cast. quite frankly hes not that bad of an actor, they just give him horrible rolls with no actual depth of a character. i prety much disliked him in alot of movies except for pitch black and the chronicles of riddick because he atleast his character didnt have like a 2 second summary.
