Sounds like the gaurds were on crack. Who the heck hired them anyway? What on earth were they thinking.

Sigh... I hate MSNBC.

I would comment, you know, if I could read the article.

Poor kid.

Those guards deserve to be beaten to bloody, writhing pulps.

Maybe you should try updating Firefox.
2006-02-16, 6:07 PM #11
hmm. while it does sound pretty bad, I would be inclined to withhold comment until I can see the tape, if it ever gets released to the public.

1) Update firefox
2) Reload the page.

It was just a parsing error, nothing to get so worked up about.

Feel bad for the kid though.

How come even before I read the article I knew this took place in Florida? Seriously, this is the stupidest state in the U.S. I know. I live it everyday.

No excuse for that kinda ****. Totally uncalled for.

For some reason, I'm reminded of the trial mentioned at the end of "Ender's Game".

-Poor kid. I hate these bootcamps. At least these are the ones in the US that at least make a show of following the law, unlike these ones in the carribean and whatnot where they can use all the special chemicals and whatnot.

But Graff never killed anyone directly. He just didn't interfere and let Ender do it... kinda like how everyone just sat back while he, uh, beat the game.

This reminds me of 63 days. Those camps are messed.

No, it was Florida. We tend not to associate with Florida.

After reading the first article at MSNBC, it seemed to me that this story is being sensationalized. And after reading the second version at CNN, I'm pretty sure it is. Yeah, the tape might show the guards being rough, but they probably didn't kill or even beat him. You can't ever trust Microsoft. :p
