Wow, that's weird. I just got home for reading week, and last time this thread was made, I was home for reading week last year.

I've got a return to blockland server going.

RTB is a mod for blockland that adds all sorts of neat things.

Right now I'm working on a base fighting system thingy.

It even has cars you can build on!!!

Server down.

Basic base fighting concept thingy finished.

Basically, there are two static spawn rooms that can't be destroyed in deathmatch mode.

The spawn point gets moved into a lobby, where there are trap doors for each team leading to teleporters for their respective bases. Theres also a spectator teleporter in the lobby.

Everyone agrees on some rules. For example. Build on your base for five minutes, then have an all out war. Last man standing, or some such rubbish. Or maybe put a dynamite in each base with a plunger right next to it. The objective being to get to the other base and dynamite it.

Then the admin sticks some weapons in each base. THEN FUN.

The end.


Oh, and I put a jail in too. I really just used something -Tony- made, and added another level to it for the observatory and made the bottom level jail.

I'll post pictures tomorrow, I'm way tired right now.

RTB also lets you make some pretty cool things like triggered doors and lifts.

Yup!

The only problem I've noticed is that when you persistence save something, it doesn't seem to truly save the TEAM USE ONLY nature of a TEAM USE ONLY movable.

Lame.

But all you need to do is remake it, and you're right as rain.

Somehow I think the mega base war will lag like crazy on some people's computers. :( Oh well.

There's so damn much stuff I don't know how to make anything. I've also not seen any vehicles yet, nor found an RTB Massassi server.

whenever I finally get my computer away from uni and back to my home connection the massassi blockland server has usually died by then. :(

What the place looked like before everyone left. Recuscant had a really cool bridge going on at the top there, where it's made of four flat pieces and each one goes out a bit further than the one it's laying on, so they all ultimately go over the gap. It rocked, by Vinny didn't allow elevators. :(
