What a waste of $7.00. I expected the movie to be a no-brainer comedy like Scary Movie 3 was, but it was even worse, if that is possible. I enjoyed Scary Movie 3 because it was a movie that you could just leave your brain at the door and pick it up later. Date Movie was just god awful, and even if you left your brain at the door, you felt ripped off. Bah, what crap.
Think while it's still legal.

As soon as I saw the previews for it, I wanted to put a knife in my chest out of despair for the human race. There's parody, and then there's outright stupidity.

I was planning on seeing it with some friends until I saw the trailer for it. Ugh. Save your money, Scary Movie 4 will be better. :p

i actually found it quite funny. it got dull about 3/4 ways in . first half of the movie is funny.

I didn't see it (and don't plan to) b/c I have a fairly good idea about what to expect.

That's why you don't pay for movies that you know are going to be stupid.

Also, voted for Cherry Pie, reminded me of Twin Peaks.

I thought Scary Movie 3 was the best one.

I'll probably neve see Date movie. Why would I want to see a Napoleon Dynamyte spoof? :P

Ok seriously, all of those people who go "OMG it sucked so bad!"

WAKE UP!

What did you expect? Did you even SEE the commericals? They were horrible. That's like going to a Barbra Streisand and expecting it to be good and lots of violence. It just aint gonna happen.

Even Alyson Hannigan isn't enough to get me to see it. It looks horrible, and I feel sorry for her career. Well, it at least looks better than Soul Plane.
