Given that I've been ill for a week and had no decent food that actually looks horribly appealing...

I can imagine it looks even better after vaccuum packed military rations, and yes, I've eaten those on many an occasion...

Anybody ever eaten monkey? I bet human would taste a lot like monkey. Actually it's probably pretty close to pork. If I ever have to get a limb amputated I will test this theory.

I hate to break it to you, but usually when you have a limb amputated it's because it's horribly mutilated. It probably wouldn't be fit to eat.

But you can still try... just as long as you post pics.
