He is smart and experienced but entrenched in a neo-conservative policy, as opposed to Bush who appears to be humble and down-to-earth. I probably wouldn't care for Cheney if I knew him better, as I hear he has a secretive and closed nature.

And if you've heard of the NMCI: Cheney was on the board of directors for EDS prior to 2000, and EDS later became a part of the $7 billion dollar contract for the NMCI. I'm unsure of Cheney's involvement, but NMCI was forced upon the Marines and was largely a waste of money. I hate that corrupt politicians can hand out contracts to companies they favor (or used to work for) using our tax money. And is this case, nothing needed to be done.
