All kinds of pierogies rock. Plain ol' potato and cheese is my favorite though. Boil the pierogies, then fry them in butter until they have a crispy outside. MmmMmm!

pierogies are awesome.

i like potato onion and cheese, boiled and fried, with some carmelized onions....mmmmmmmmm pierogies......

My mother makes them with a filling of a tomato-sauce and minced meat. They rule.

Being Polish, it's pretty much a given that I love pierogie. Especially since my mother makes them from scratch, witch makes them taste infinitely better than any frozen ones bought at a store. Cheese and potato ones are tasty any time of the year. For vigilia (Christmas Eve dinner), we have pierogie filled with a specially prepared cabbage and mushroom filling. Delicious. During the summer, the best pierogie are those filled with blueberries, strawberries, or rasberries and topped off with sour cream and sugar.

Dammit, I really really want some now. And my mom is two hundred miles away. :(
