Something that just occurred to me . . .

I turned on the T.V. and saw that AMC was playing an American Werewolf in London, and started watching it. Well, my conclusion is that the transformation scenes were absolutetly incredible, some of the best I've seen in movies, but that didn't stop the rest of the movie from being dreadfully corny.

Something occurred to me though - why would a werewolf transform only during the night at a full moon? Why not during the day as well? Just because you can't see the moon doesn't mean it's not there.

This turned out to be a weird thread, so to add some substance to it, post plotholes and goofs in various movies and literature.

In original lore, it was during the full moon, not just at night. Of course, the original lore warned against friendly green-eyed strangers, and that nothing could kill a werewolf, but rye and ashwood would protect you from one (silver was originally a vampire weakness, but Hollywood figured audiences wouldn't be able to identify ashwood or rye).

i think its the 'light' of the full moon that is supposed to make a werewolf transform, so i guess it wouldnt affect the werewolf/person during daytime?

What happened to the clones?

Crapstick. So here I am in werewolf country with nothing but silver bullets that will do NOTHING.

EVERYONE KNOWS WEREWOLVES LIVE BETWEEN MASSASSI THREADS!!!!
The tips at the end of shoelaces are called "aglets". Their true purpose is sinister.

As far as I know, neither the original clones nor the later stormtroopers were werewolves.

Oh my god that was a weird TV show.
The weird thing is the books were so chock full of commercialization (partially to make it more immersive, possibly also to give the whole series a more sinister, Orwellian tone of ubercorporations and whatnot) but the show featured, as fas as I could tell, absolutely NO product placement.

-And the theme song sucked. And only the dog had a trainer. And they credited the dog on every show regardless of whether or not he appeared. And they butchered the plots. And there were no taxxons. And the guy who plays smart people in all the stoner movies played Ax, which was actually pretty cool the first time I watched "Road Trip" and thought to myself... "He looks very familliar..."
