Has anyone else played Black yet? I bought it at Gamestop today with store credit, and from the 3 levels I've played the game is VERY fun. The enviroment is pretty destructable, not as much as I would have hoped. The guns are absolutely BEAUTIFUL, and the rest of the game looks pretty good too. It reminds me of Killzone a bit, but I like this (I couldn't stand Killzone). I would like some multiplayer, but that's OK.

There isn't a lot of variety in weapons so far, it's mostly AK-47 and either A. RPG B. Pistol or C. Shotgun. The explosions are very pretty, the guns are loud and fun to shoot stuff with, the game looks beautiful for PS2, I'd reccomend it. But I think renting it would be better, with nothing other than unlimited health/unlimited ammo to use once you beat the game, since there is no MP.

Console shooters... They really have to be exceptional to be worth playing.

played it at a friends and I have to say that it is one of the most fun games I've played so far , k, I only got through a couple of sections but the gameplay was very good and I'm just hoping against hope that it gets ported to the PC.
