"This document contains no data"?

Whenever I try to upload my 14 MB zipped movie file to the internet on a website like Yousendit or Putfile (heck, even the JK Editing Hub or email), I get this error message:
Quote:
This document contains no data.

I really want to show a friend this movie, but no matter whether it's zipped or unzipped, it won't upload. :S

I got that same error trying to upload an attachment to Gmail. I think it's a Firefox issue with some servers. It resolved itself after a while, though.

Well, I've tried to do it on 2 different computers about 10 itmes over the course of 18 hours. The problem doesn't seem to be going away. Other files seem to upload alright, but this particular one won't for some reason.

Hah, I read the topic title as "This document contains no date".

But really, does the file play alright and everything? Can't think of when I've heard of something like that.

It's timing out, maybe? (The "document" referred to in the msg is the document you're viewing, not the document you're uploading. . it's basically saying "the page that we're supposed to display for you in response to you uploading this has nothing in it.") That implies that there's some issue with the script server-side, or that your browser never received the output from the script, which can happen when requests time out (though usually it'll just say "request timed out")

The file plays fine for me. And I really am wondering if the file is the problem as opposed to the server though, because like I said, other files upload just fine. Does the file's size (14 MB) have something to do with it? I uploaded a 5 MB file to YouSendit just fine.

Oh, and the message usually appears about 5-10 seconds after the upload has "supposedly" begun.
