Ok, so this:

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1519781&Sku=P450-7804&SRCCODE=PRICEGRABBER&CMP=OTC-PRICEGRABBER

Is compatible with this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16817148008

?

And Should I get 2 of these:

http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16820145440

or one set of this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820211014

or 2 of these

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231046

?

Thanks. Please don't give me other suggestions unless they're CHEAPER. The costs are really starting to add up.

I know you said not to...

But why not dump the extra $40 to get a GTX?

Its worth the money if you ask me.

I saw the stress tests reports on the GT and GTX. Wasn't that impressed with the improvement.

Where do you see this? I'm seeing and extra $150 for this card.

And what about the RAM?

sohodiffusion.com has the sapphire x1900xt (Don't get the Asustek or Powercolor cards they are more expensive) lower than a bunch of 7800GT

Sites in french, might be an english option.

I got my x1900xt for 588$ canadian.

As for the RAM, I'm a little biased towards Corsair Value, but thats what I have and I think it works wonders. I love it and I'd say thats the brand you'll get the most of your money with.

But aside from Kingston and Corsair Value (and Oce-Z NONONONONO) I haven't made much tests.

Mmmmmm. What about the last one? Got a lot of GREAT reviews.

And are you ABOSOLUTELY SURE the XFX version comes with the 4 to 6-pin adapter. Can't find it in the article.

Thing is, I cannot really go out and recommend the others, as I have not tested them. But what I CAN say is that the Corsair Value is a safe bet, and a great price. Even IF the other two were better, then you would get possibly a 5% increase. In this day and age, with 2GB ram, a 5% increase will hardly be noticable.

As for the XFX, I cannot say, but I'd go out on a limb and say it most likely did.

I just did a check, no it doesn't. But I found a 500w PSU with 1 6-pin PCI-E connectors for under $65.00. Think I'll go with that, since the adapters I hear are LOUSY.

That PSU looks awesome! And 580w. Review sad a guy hooked it up to a 7800, but does it have a PCI-E connector?

That's the one I'll most likely get, man it's so hard to shop for parts for a PC build.

Yeh, I agree. Especially if your like me and you know next to nothing about PCs at the time. It seems shopping, reading and reading and reading took me a long way though these last few months. :)

Its actually a really fun (if costly......) hobbit. I mentioned costly because I end up spending cash testing parts out and always buying bigger stuff.

November build :
Asus A8N SLI
AMD 64Bit 3700+
1GB Kingston Ram
1x Nvidia 6800GT
1x 160mb Seagate HDD
Soundblaster Audigy 2

Now :
Asus A8N SLI
AMD 64Bit 3700+
2GB Corsair Value
1x Sapphire X1900XT
2x 160mb Seagate HDD RAID
Soundblaster X-fi Fatal1ty
Pockets : Empty
