Yes, that's right. MTA is back with the first release for San Andreas. Unfortunately, it's limited to race mode only, but it is a hell of alot more stable than the previous builds for GTA III and Vice City. There are also quite a few active servers up.

Surprisingly, no. It does tend to slow down a little when you get more than 15 or so people in a server, but otherwise it runs very smoothly.
