I was flipping through the JK: DF2 manual tonight (for nostalgia's sake) and saw a familiar name: Scott Ewers, the director/cinematographer of our beloved Jedi Knight (so you can thank my distant relative for all those cheesy acting scenes!).

We share the same last name of Welsh origin, "Ewers", meaning "one who carries water", and I did some reasearch and he is actually related to my 3rd cousin, once removed. He lives in Ohio though, so I doubt we'll ever meet.

So I thought that was kinda cool.

I'm descended from the Ruthven clan, that became the Harris clan! Oh I remember.

Erm, anyone heard of Bonnie Prince Charlie? Well one of my great (great * n) grandmothers from the Harris clan....placed her arm through a barricade/braced the door with her arm... to stop the soliders of Bonnie Prince Charlie entering a castle during battle..., and her arm snapped in half.

Thats all I can think of.

Most of my family are not important, working class/middle class folk.

Cept my grandad McSwan who had a lot of oil or something in Saudi Arabia.

Not related to anyone, but my dad was best friend with someone called Evan Nesbitt, who did camera work on the first X-Men, Eraser, Mortal Kombat, Blade, Spawn, Con Air, Demolition Man.... lots of movies I didnt even know.

My second cousin played for the Dodgers in the 70's and also had something to do with the Columbo tv series. His name is Ron Cey. He was a 6-time all star baseball player.
