The half an hour ending was fantastic, it had everything :-D

What an end... and then Jessica's song on the credits, wow. I hope Final Fantasy X doesn't let me down now! Woo!

Well done?

Although the ending was nice, I still reckon FF9 was the worst game of the numbered series.
nope.

FFX-2 is the only FF game or rather the only game I own that I have never finished.

FF9 is my favorite.

I actually just started playing it again, and I bigheart it. It's the world and the characters that make it great. No more moody protaganists! Thank god.

I really enjoyed FF8, and borowed FF9 from a friend. I couldn't get the hang of the cartoony characters though, so I quit playing shortly after having started.

The story of FF9 is cool, but the combat gameplay is so awful that I haven't even gotten to Burmecia.

FF9 is ok. The ability system sucks (Also the one in FFTA... because it's the same)

FF8 was good. However, Tactics reigns over all.

I am a FF7 fanboy, will always be a FF7 fanboy, and will die an FF7 fanboy.

Long live FF7 forever. :D

Anyone who says anything but FF6 is just plain wrong.

FF8's junctioning system kicks serious ***. Also FF8 has some awesome cutscenes (the ballroom scene where Rinoa teaches Squall how to dance, or the scene where the two airships are battling and the motorcycles are jumping across). Even so, the FF8 story and gameplay got a bit tedious after a while, whereas the story for FF9 stpped along quite nicely. But alas, FF9 didn't have any major cutscenes that stood out to me, so I have to go with FF8 as my favorite, overall.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

Lassev: I guess there was something captivating in savagery, because I liked it.

Chrono Trigger.

I agree with the know it all. Junctions >> *

Also, I played it mainly when I was (as close as I ever got to being) moody.

FF9 was quite entertaining game. Haven't played soon in 5 years though...

Um excuse me what? Alexander vs Bahamut is like the coolest thing ever. Not to mention Lindblum getting sucked up by Atamos. And the dragon fight thing? OMG!

And I thought the junctioning in FF8 was... well, I didn't mind the junctioning so much as having to draw magic out of enemies.

But Jon'C's right; the worst thing about FF9 is the slow battles.

Out of the Final Fantasies I've played, I have to go... FF9 > FF7 > FF6 > FFT > FF8.

I agree, but I'm talking just final fantasies here.

I never really got into 9. Maybe because I lost interest when I was horribly underleveled at the start of Disc 3.

I own everything from IV to XI, excluding X-2, but I've only completed VI through VIII, X and XI technically, depending on your definition of "complete".
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

I agree with everything said about FF8. FF9 simply sucked.

Oh, and...

VII and X I liked.
Think while it's still legal.

X was... alright. Nothing Spectacular.

VII, VIII and V were the best ones in my opinion.
nope.

I adore FFVII. I played VIII but didn't like it. I also adore FF Mystic Quest. I haven't played any other FF games.

Muuuuuuuuch better than that lame Tetra Master. It made no sense. :o

Tetra Master sucks, but you can totally ignore it if you want (except for the card tournament, which I think you have to participate in.) In FF8 though, you needed cards to get certain items, which was kind of annoying.

No it didn't. Don't try to pass your opinion off as fact, little man.

It is clear it's his opinion. He's not trying to declare it a fact.

Yeah.

Unless I say it. That it IS a fact, AMIRITE?

V is probably my favorite. I'm a sucker for good job systems. It's a great game, but it never receives the love it deserves.
