Question about DSL speeds:

My gf is looking at getting Sprint's 512kbps DSL connection and is asking me how fast it will be compared to her current AOL crap. I know it will be much faster, but can you guys who have that speed connection post what you usually get for download speeds and such? I'd really like to be able to give her some INFORMED information....that sounds odd. Thanks.

p.s. - i'm not trying to hijack your thread, i really hope i dont! just one or two speeds will suffice!
