The first one is possibly a slower video sped up. I'm not saying I don't think he did it, and I wasn't really looking for it... but after I noticed a few signature reasons, it seems possible. It's hard to prove or disprove because of the poor quality of video.

Watch his head move. It's not sped up.

That's one of the major things that tells me it probably isn't, but it's very possible that they compensated for that, as there's SOME jerking in the head that looks really suspicious. And when he does move his head, it's ackwardly slow. To me, it seems like it'd only be sped up by 5 frames at the most, so not AMAZINGLY faster, but fast enough that he could slow down and hit things better. Just a concept. I'm not condemning the video, because it really don't seem that difficult to accomplish, so I don't know WHY it'd be cheated at, but I just happened to notice a few telltale signs of speeding up that you get used to as a Video Editor.

No wayyyy... you obviously don't play guitar. I do, and what he does isn't even that hard actually. (I watched only about half of it though.)

Not so awesome at all in my opinion. The riff he played was better than the solo-stuff.

That pieice was arranged by Jerry C and if you look under lessons you can get the tab and backing track. I am learning how to play it! :p

Look under google vid, there are lots of videos of guys playing the same thing.
I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

I don't play guitar, and it doesn't look that difficult... but I DO edit video, and there were a few oddities that make me question. I'm probably wrong, though, because internet video is impossible to judge anything on.

There's a backing track with rhythm guitar, drum, and bass on the website of the guy that tabbed the song. You can download it as well as the tab. Read this thread. You will learn that.

yeah it still sounds pretty badass... at least as badass as true solo guitar can sound. i watched a few of the other covers on that website posted above and some of them have no acompanament.

This is awesome. Getting to learn how to tag/bomb (I mean with skill) is something I would love to learn sometime. Only problem is it's illegal for the most part...

But that is amazing, I think (subway bombing clip).
