I didn't know that Hunter: The Reckoning was a videogame too until now. I thought it was just a tabletop game (one I've sort of played once, btw).

Someone needs to get this guy to make Duke Nukem Forever, the movie, to be based on the videogame. Maybe that'll stop him...

I think Far Cry and Max Payne could turn out to be very good movies, and especially Halo.
<Lyme> I got Fight Club for 6.98 at walmart.

In the "Halo" description:
Quote:
On a planet known as Halo, Master Chief and his band of human soldiers risk their lives to halt a takeover by the Convenant, a conglomerate of alien races.

The losers failed to describe the coolest part of the game, and why it's ****ing CALLED Halo, the ringworld! :(

I can't wait till they make a Half-Life 2 movie. That will blow them all away.

How? Gordon Freeman is so transparent and characteristic-less that it'd be really hard to make a good character.

I'm pretty sure Valve ain't dumb enough to sell the rights to a moron. The others, like ubisoft or whomever, I suppose, just want money, and they got it.

Sad :(

FarCry did have such potential, as does Max Payne.
2006-03-22, 4:53 PM #16
At least Max Payne isn't a Uwe Boll film.

True. Those are merely the two on the list that I've played/seemed to hold promise.

Hitman

Considering agent 47 isn't meant to be particularly emotional, picking Vin Diesel for the part should be no bad thing as long as he doesn't add "attitude".

Uwe's after MGS, but they won't let him have it.
God almighty keep this... ergh... I almost used a racial epithet over Uwe Boll. The man nearly drove me to racism.

Hideo Kojima should write/direct the MGS movie.

No, I'm pretty sure the games came first: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Street_Fighter

Not really. He gets horrible parts, but he's not a horrible actor at all. See: Pitch Black/Riddick.

Which are two examples of bad movies he's been in. See: Saving Private Ryan/Find Me Guilty. Find Me Guilty is an okay movie, with some of the best acting Vin has done.

Strange, they both got lauded for being great films. You may not like them, but he was in them and did very well.

I still say Jason Statham would be a perfect 47.
