I was getting pictures for a project and cam across this.

Anyone notice anything wrong with this pic? Is it just be or does it seem that the actors from the OT are just squished in a corner, and all the "new" and "cool" actors are by lucas and in the center of the shot. Also it seems Hayden Christiansen is Lucas' right hand man...

They cut half of Mark out. And Jar Jar is in the center of the pic. JAR JAR.

I don't think you should attach meaning to who sits where. They all made Star Wars, even Jar Jar. Several girls I know got into Star Wars after seeing him in TPM. You guys just don't understand him. He's so annoying that he's cool! lol Back in the 80's everyone hated 3-PO as much as everybody hates Jar Jar now. :p

But... where's Maul?

Like, um where is Boba Fett? He was probably one of the most iconic characters, although not exactly having much of a presence.

This is a cover/foldout from an issue of Vanity Fair from... uh, sometime before EP III came out IIRC.

The "center" of the image is really George, the rest is a pullout. So Jar Jar ain't really the center.

Yeah, where are the Jawas? And what about some Tuskens, for that matter?

If I ever had the skill, time, and resources, I would make a film about Tuskens. And it'd be gritty, shot-on-the-spot sort of thing that felt like an old 1930s adventure film. Complete with stage tricks, model shots, and the like. Yeah, just like that.... *sigh*

That was exactly my point. He's the only major character left out, safe for Alec Guinness.

Peter Cushing, who is also long gone, sadly.

Plus the gunner from ANH who didn't destroy the pod with R2 and 3PO in it because it lacked life signs... possibly the most vital character in the trilogy.

The guy behind Jake Lloyd (Ani) and Christopher Lee (Count Dooku) (where do you see Owen?) is Liam Neeson (Qui-Gon Jinn) and the guy behind JarJar is Jimmy Smit (Bail Organa).

Qui Gon Jin is the one between Dooku and Anikan (sp?)
