I'm watching, although launch has been put back to 2.30pm (California Time - whatever that is.. Pacific Time??)

No, California defies logic and despite the fact of being on the pacific coast is actually in atlantic time...

Looks like it malfunctioned shortly after launch, then the webcast went dead :(

bugger....mine cut out too at T-minus 5 seconds....ggggrrrr :mad:

Yep, cut out for me too. Hit T-minus three, the engines ignited, then it froze.

However, the audio was still going for a bit; it sounded like it lifted off successfully before I lost audio too.

I noticed I saw sky and not ground after the first cutout, hopefully not an impending crash.

Well, I still saw an inside view of the rocket high up in the air looking down on the ground. It must've been T-Plus 20 or so when it ended.

doesn't look like I'm going to be able to re-connect to the webcast any time soon...ah well...

and I've never watched a launch live, this was going to be my first...I'm rather upset :(

i remember watching the deep impact mission's nasa tv coverage online, got very lagy (due to the overloaded server) around the time of the impact. literaly seconds after success was reported, i had a perfectly good streaming video again.

but it sucks about the rocket failing.
