While in British Columbia, I had dinner at a Vietnamese lady's house. As a special treat she cooked some eggs for us, but they weren't just any eggs.

That's after my first bite of the partially incubated egg. Yup, that's hard boiled egg/bird fetus. Feathers, bones, beak--it's all in there.

The leaves are to be eaten with the egg. I guess it's to help give it some additional flavor.

What does the egg taste like? It tastes just like hard boiled egg, with meat in it.

I seem to remember the egg carton saying the eggs where chicken and/or duck eggs. So I could have been eating chicken or duck.

As for the beak "and stuff," they either turn soft while cooking the egg or they aren't hardened yet. I'm not quite sure which it is, but I do know they don't crunch when you eat them.

FYI I had eggs & bacon this morning.

My eggs had no lifeforms growing.

I said only britassians would get it. There was an advertising campaign over christmas (or is it still going?) for posh food at Marks and Spencers (aka M&S). It consisted entirely of close ups of food with this husky female voiceover going "This isn't just chocolate pudding. This is M&S Belgian chocolate fudge pudding with a liquid centre" and stuff like that.
