I am starting a new internet fad, just to see how far I can get it to go.

Smilies must now only have one eye! Feel free to make up stories as to how they lost the other eye.

I shall supply some examples of one-eyed smilies for your purposes!

No... fads are supposed to be popular, funny isn't a factor at all. Though a lot of fads are triggered from funny things.

It's a severe case of holoprosencephaly, which is when the brain fails to divide completely into bilateral hemispheres, causing facial deformities. In severe cases, synophthalmia occurs, more commonly known as cyclopia.
